Effective 22 August 2026
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how ThinkUnbias handles personal information when you use the service. We do not sell personal data.
Information we collect
We collect account identity and email information, your WorkOS user ID, practice answers, progress and favorites, question reports, subscription and payment metadata, deletion requests, and support communications. We may also process cookies or session data, device/browser and log information, and security information needed to operate and protect the service. Payment card details are handled by Razorpay and are not stored by ThinkUnbias.
How we use information
We use information to provide and personalize account features, record practice activity, manage subscriptions, process requests, provide support, secure the service, prevent fraud or misuse, meet legal obligations, and improve the service and content.
Service providers and third parties
We use service providers such as WorkOS for authentication, Razorpay for payments, and MongoDB Atlas for data storage. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices. We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, prevent fraud or security incidents, or support a corporate transaction where allowed by law.
Retention and deletion
You can request account deletion through the Account page. The request is reviewed and processed by support/admin; deletion is not immediate. When processed, account profile and personal app data, including practice history, favorites, answers, progress, and question reports, will be deleted or anonymized. Authentication/account linkage will be removed where applicable.
We may retain minimal billing, payment, and subscription records where needed for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute, or compliance purposes. Support and deletion-request records may be kept only as needed to document the request and compliance. Backup copies may remain temporarily until normal backup rotation removes them.
Security and your choices
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure. Protect your login credentials and contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. You may contact us to ask about your information or a deletion request, subject to applicable law and verification of your identity.
Updates and contact
We may update this policy reasonably as the service changes. The effective date will be updated and we will provide notice of material changes where appropriate. For privacy questions, use the Contact & Support form. Submit deletion requests through the Account page.
